  • Total Cholesterol <199 mg/dl
  • LDL <130 mg/dl
  • HDL>50mg/dl (male);
  • HDL>40mg/dl (female)
  • Triglyceride<149mg/dl

Eat heart-healthy foods.

Be physically active for at least 30 minutes/5-days a week.

Maintain a healthy weight and waist size.

Do not smoke.

Decrease the total amount of fat you eat.

Replace unhealthy fats with healthy fats.

Include fish in your diet.

Eat fruits and vegetables every day.

Eat foods high in fiber. Limit alcohol.
